Today I wanted to test taking pictures in the dark. Normally, with my old P&S camera, if it was too dark outside and I wanted a picture, it would either be filled with light from the flash, or pitch black. With my new camera, many reviews told me that it takes great pictures in the dark, so my goal: Take some neat pictures in the area, in the dark, with no flash, and hope for the best.
With the pitter-patter of rain outside, I didn't get to experiment for too long, but I think I got a few shots that came out great!

Jackie took a great picture herself yesterday in the rain...
i call it "rain dance". It signifies our deep yearning for calm in an otherwise hectic world. Notice the light of cars in traffic and how they glimmer off each rain droplet, almost as if in a cosmic dance.
